Catedral de Lima, Peru
2019 Lima, Peru
The Cathedral of Lima stands on the city's Plaza Mayor, its origins dating to the 1530s though the present structure reflects rebuilding after colonial-era earthquakes. It remains the seat of the Archdiocese of Lima and holds the tomb of conquistador Francisco Pizarro.
