Islam Khodja Minaret 01

Rising 56.6 meters above Khiva's old town, the Islam Khodja Minaret was completed in 1908 under the vizier whose name it bears, with the surrounding madrasa finished two years later. It is the tallest minaret in Uzbekistan and a centerpiece of the Itchan Kala, Khiva's UNESCO-listed walled city.
