Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, one of the holiest sites of the Georgian Orthodox Church, has stood in its current eleventh-century form since being rebuilt over an earlier fourth-century church. Tradition holds that Christ's robe is buried beneath the site, and the cathedral is part of Mtskheta's UNESCO-listed historic monuments.
