The Selimiye Mosque in Nicosia is shown in this 2008 photograph. Originally built in the thirteenth century as the Gothic Cathedral of Saint Sophia under the Lusignan kings of Cyprus, it was converted into a mosque after the Ottoman conquest of the island in 1570.
