Plaza Mayor - Trinidad - 01
2017 Trinidad, Cuba
Plaza Mayor is the central square of Trinidad, Cuba, a colonial town founded in 1514 and inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 for its well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture. This 2017 photograph shows the square, ringed by pastel-colored mansions and churches from the town's nineteenth-century sugar-boom era.
