The ship Antarctic, vessel of the first Swedish Antarctic Expedition led by Otto Nordenskjöld, photographed off Ushuaia, Argentina, in 1901. Ushuaia, at the southern tip of Tierra del Fuego, served as a final supply stop before ships sailed on toward Antarctic waters.
