The Church of Debre Berhan Selassie in Gondar, Ethiopia, a 17th-century Ethiopian Orthodox church renowned for its ceiling painted with rows of winged angel faces. It is among the few Gondar-era churches to have survived 19th-century Mahdist raids on the city.
