2016 Kumasi, Ghana
Fort Kumasi, photographed in 2016, was rebuilt by the British in the early 1900s on the site of an earlier Asante stronghold destroyed during the Anglo-Ashanti wars. The fort today houses Ghana's Armed Forces Museum.
