The Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, seen here in 2016, is a chateau-style hotel perched above the St. Lawrence River in Quebec City's Upper Town. Built for the Canadian Pacific Railway and opened in 1893, it is among the most photographed buildings in Canada.
