Zagreb Cathedral reconstruction - Old and new spires

2012 Zagreb, Croatia

Zagreb Cathedral during restoration work, its twin neo-Gothic spires shown mid-reconstruction. The towers, among the tallest structures in Croatia, were rebuilt in their present form after the 1880 Zagreb earthquake badly damaged the original. Photographed in 2012.
