Dar Bellarj

2016 Marrakesh, Morocco

Dar Bellarj, whose name means 'House of the Storks' in Arabic, occupies a Saadian-era building in the Marrakech medina near the Ben Youssef Madrasa; it once served as a shelter for injured storks before becoming a cultural arts foundation, photographed here in January 2016.
