The cross erected on the summit of Mount Srđ overlooks Dubrovnik and is visible for miles along the Adriatic coast. The hill, also home to the Napoleonic-era Fort Imperial, was the site of fighting during the 1991 siege of the city. This photograph dates from 2012.
