The Imperial City in Hue was the seat of Vietnam's Nguyen dynasty from the early nineteenth century until 1945, a walled citadel modeled in part on Beijing's Forbidden City. This photograph, taken in February 2025, shows part of the complex, now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
