Avenida Mariscal Óscar Benavides, once known as Avenida Colonial, is one of Lima's principal arteries linking the historic center with the port district of Callao. Named for a two-time Peruvian president, it remains a busy commercial corridor lined with mid-twentieth-century buildings, captured here in 2016.
