The Paseo de los Descalzos runs along the Rímac district on the north bank of Lima's Rímac River, a tree-lined colonial-era promenade built in the late eighteenth century next to the Convento de los Descalzos. Statues and formal walkways still mark the route in this 2016 photograph.
