Meridian Gate (Citadel of Hue)

The Meridian Gate, or Ngo Mon, the ceremonial southern entrance to the Imperial City within the Hue Citadel. Built in 1833 under Emperor Minh Mang, it was used for major court ceremonies including imperial proclamations.
