Togetsukyo Bridge from west side of Nakanoshima Island

2014 Kyoto, Japan

Togetsukyo Bridge is seen from the western side of Nakanoshima Island in Kyoto's Arashiyama district in 2014. The wooden-railed bridge spanning the Katsura River has been a fixture of the area since it was first built in the 9th century, though rebuilt many times since.
