Accra Fort Christiansborg

1935 Accra, Ghana

Fort Christiansborg, also known as Osu Castle, on the Accra coastline in the 1930s. Built by Danish traders in the seventeenth century, the fort later passed through British colonial administration and became a seat of government on Ghana's Gold Coast.
