Koutoubia
2006 Marrakech, Morocco
The Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakech, photographed in 2006. Its minaret, completed in the 12th century under the Almohad dynasty, remains the tallest structure in the old city and a reference point for later minarets built across Morocco and Spain.
