Koutoubia Mosque
2019 Marrakech, Morocco
The Koutoubia Mosque rises above Marrakech, its minaret reaching roughly 77 metres and serving as a landmark visible across much of the city. Built under the Almohad dynasty in the 12th century, it remains Marrakech's largest mosque and a defining piece of the city's skyline.
