Le bâtiment du Comité populaire (Hô Chi Minh Ville)
2011 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
The former city hall of Ho Chi Minh City, completed in 1908 in French colonial style, rises behind a bronze statue of Ho Chi Minh holding a child, known locally as "Uncle Ho". Visitors gather on the tree-lined plaza in front of the ornate clock-towered building, which today houses the municipal People's Committee.
