The Grand Hotel in Tiflis, present-day Tbilisi, was photographed around 1900 by Dmitri Ermakov, one of the most prolific chroniclers of the Caucasus in the late Russian imperial period. Ermakov's studio produced thousands of images documenting the region's cities, peoples, and landscapes.
