The mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, the second ruler of Vietnam's Nguyen dynasty, set among wooded hills outside Hue. The tomb complex follows a formal, symmetrical layout of courtyards, pavilions, and an artificial lake typical of Nguyen-era royal architecture.
